Common Questions

I paid but the app is still locked.

Open the app and tap Restore Purchases on the purchase screen. That asks Apple for anything bought with your Apple Account. If it still does not unlock, email us and we will sort it out.

Does one purchase cover all my devices?

Yes. iPhone, iPad and Mac are a single purchase as long as they use the same Apple Account.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the next charge.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them ourselves.

Can I use it without an internet connection?

Yes. The app makes no network requests at all. Everything runs on your device, including the audio and the shape generation.

A shape will not generate.

The constraints are probably too tight for the scale you picked. Widen the max fret span, or change the notes per string. The app suggests the smallest span that works when it cannot find anything.

The note names look wrong.

Note spelling follows the key by default, so F major shows B flat rather than A sharp. You can force sharps or flats instead under Accidentals in the overflow menu.
